Mountain spring water

Where does the Roche Claire water come from?

Roche Claire mountain spring water comes from the exceptional Belleface spring in Savoie, in the heart of the French Alps. It emerges naturally at an altitude of 1957 metres from a high-altitude hanging valley.

Why Roche Claire Water is ideal for everyday family hydration?

With a dry residue of 118.5 mg/L at 180°C, Roche Claire stands out for its light and balanced mineral content, making it ideal for natural everyday hydration for the whole family.

Naturally pure, it offers a smooth and refreshing taste, enjoyed by all, at every age, day after day.

Sourced from a natural spring nestled in the mountains of Savoie, in the heart of the French Alps, Roche Claire water draws its purity from a high-altitude alpine environment. Emerging naturally at the surface, it embodies an authentic, pure and reliable mountain water, perfectly suited to everyday life.

Pregnant women should choose still water with low mineral content. Roche Claire is ideal during pregnancy.

We know that a pregnant woman’s kidneys are under greater strain, filtering an average of 240 liters compared to the usual 180 liters of water.

That’s why it’s important to avoid overloading the kidneys with minerals, in order to maintain their proper functioning and promote elimination.

Roche Claire water, defined as having a low mineral content, is therefore particularly suitable, with a dry residue at 180°C of 118.5mg/L.

In the case of breast-feeding women, their water requirements are even higher, to compensate for losses due to the production of breast milk. The amount of milk produced meets the infant’s needs, even if fluid intake is insufficient and the mother is dehydrated, which can jeopardize the water balance. Their water intake should therefore be increased by around 700ml a day.

For all these reasons, the European Food Safety Agency (EFSA) has drawn up specific hydration recommendations for expectant and nursing mothers.

They should drink: 1.9 liters of water per day for pregnant women and 2.1 liters of water per day for nursing mothers.

Our mountain spring water is therefore ideal for serene hydration during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and is also perfectly suited to baby nutrition.

If you have any doubts, don’t hesitate to contact a health professional.

Our commitments

Are your packaging materials fully recyclable?

The bottles and caps are 100% recyclable, with the exception of the label.

We’re also the first water brand to use a 100% RPET shrink-wrapped film, with an integrated handle on our grouping pack. It facilitates recycling by using only one material for its design.

Our 5-liter water cube, sold in supermarkets, uses less material per liter. Its packaging is 100% recyclable (made from 85% recycled cardboard and 15% recyclable plastic).

Is the source protected?

To preserve the spring, we use less than 30% of its capacity.

Unrecovered water continues its journey to the water table. This practice ensures sustainable water management and conservation.

We collect it naturally from the earth’s surface, without drilling.

In addition, a resource protection charter has been put in place, and is monitored annually by a protection committee, supported and guaranteed by our legal status as a company with a mission.

Actions in the factory?

Our site aims to limit its carbon impact.

To do this, our carbon impact is measured in a global carbon footprint within the plant, thanks to carbon balance practices.

We recycle our industrial waste to give it a second life, and the electricity we use is 100% green.
